A list of newly established companies, updated daily and free of charge. You will see which limited liability companies (s.r.o.), joint-stock companies (a.s.), cooperatives and associations were established in the last 120 days, where they are based and what they do. You can narrow the list by region, district and legal form and download it as a spreadsheet for Excel. It is public data from the register, without the names of individuals and without sole traders.

Business partner checkChoose a region or district and a period. Traders, craftsmen and service providers can then see who is being established in their area right now and who is likely to need accounting, banking or insurance.
The date of formation tells you whether a partner has been on the market for three years or three weeks. The company name is a link to the business partner check, where you will also see liquidation, bankruptcy, VAT ID validity and debts to the state.
The Download CSV button gives you the current selection, even if it is longer than one page. The file opens in Excel with correct diacritics, and the columns are separated by semicolons.
From the register of legal entities, which is maintained by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic (Štatistický úrad SR) and published as open data under the CC BY 4.0 licence. We keep our own copy of it and build the list from that. The date of formation is the date given in the register as the date of establishment. For companies entered in the commercial register, it is the day of registration.
Once a day, at night. The register publishes changes for the previous day, so a company registered today usually appears in the list the next morning. Below the list you can see the day the data is current to. If the update fails for more than three days, the page says so instead of presenting an old list as current.
A sole trader does business as a natural person, and data about them is personal data. Publishing it in a list that anyone can download would not be appropriate, so we do not store it in our copy of the register at all. The list contains only legal entities: limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, cooperatives, associations, foundations and the like. It does not contain the names of managing directors or partners either.
Click its name. The business partner check opens with this company's ID (IČO): the register entry, liquidation and bankruptcy, VAT ID validity, published financial statements and debts to the state and insurers. For a company established only a few days ago, expect most lists to have nothing on it yet. That is normal for a new company and does not automatically mean a problem.
Yes, both the list and the CSV download are free and require no registration. We do not store who searched for what. To protect the server from overload, we count requests by an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address, and the counter is deleted after an hour. CSV downloads are limited to a few files per hour.
